James Lutman - Judo Black Belt

James brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the mat, with over 30 years training in judo.  He is a black belt who represented Team GB for over a decade, competing all over the world. In 2019 he won the masters common wealth judo championships.

James also tested his skills in the world of MMA where he competed professionally in over 18 bouts, securing the British title in 2012.  He combines his passion for martial arts with his career as a wholetime firefighter and father to 3 children.  His coaching focuses on technical fundamentals with highlight reel flare.
