Lisa Zimmo - BJJ Purple Belt and Pro Fighter

A Mixed Martial Arts practitioner with over a decade of experience, Lisa’s foundation is built on elite-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Her transition from a national-level university grappler to an undefeated pro fighter was fueled by a dominant ground game that has earned her titles across Europe, including medals in IBJJF and NAGA. Lisa made history in 2023 as the first British female to win the IMMAF World Championship, securing her a gold medal through back-to-back rear-naked chokes, a testament to the clinical submission style she now brings to the Patello BJJ mats. As a coach, Lisa is dedicated to unlocking the potential of anyone who steps into her class, from children to adults, from beginners to more advanced practitioners, by leveraging Jiu-Jitsu for self-defence.
