Paul Vivekananthan - Purple Belt

Paul brings a well-rounded approach to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, combining his passion for learning and teaching with a strong background in freestyle wrestling. As a dedicated purple belt, Paul enjoys the challenge of sparring with bigger, stronger, and more experienced training partners, constantly pushing himself to improve both technically and mentally on the mats.

Outside of BJJ, Paul works as a Geotechnical CAD Technician in the Civil Engineering industry, where problem solving, attention to detail, and continuous development are part of everyday life. He carries these same qualities into his training and coaching style, helping students build strong fundamentals and confidence from day one.

Alongside Jiu Jitsu, Paul enjoys powerlifting, weightlifting, hiking, and running, maintaining an active lifestyle that supports both physical and mental resilience. As a kids class instructor, he is passionate about helping younger students and beginners learn the basics of BJJ in a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment.
